GENERAL BEHAVIOR
Jamboree In The Hills is one of the most respected country music events in the nation. Please help us keep this tradition. The following general information, procedures and regulations have been devised for your own safety and protection. Strict enforcement of all laws and regulations will be necessary to ensure that everyone enjoys their experience while at Jamboree In The Hills.
CAR PARKING
Daily car parking is easily accessed by using Entrance #2 off Route 40 (see site map ). (Please note times have changed) Lots open Thursday, Friday & Sunday at 8 a.m. and Saturday at 6 a.m. All lots close one hour after the end of show each night. Over-night parking is not permitted. All vehicles will be towed 2 hours after the show ends, at the owner’s expense. Any illegally parked vehicle or vehicle parked in an unauthorized area will be towed. All towed vehicles can be claimed for a non-refundable fee of $45 at the Tow Compound adjacent to Entrance #1.
SEATING
Jamboree In The Hills features primarily festival style seating with ample room for your lawn chair or blanket. For everyone's safety, those who designate their seating area should use only lawn blankets. The maximum permissible size for any individual blanket is 8'x10'. Caution tape and other similar materials may not be used to designate your seating area.
Wooden and metal stakes within the general seating area are prohibited. Shade umbrellas, canopies or any obstruction limiting the views of spectators will not be permitted within the general seating area. A designated canopy section within the concert area is provided for your comfort. Flags and banners also may be displayed in this section. Event Management reserves the right to ask spectators to remove any items that obstruct viewing or that may be objectionable. Please respect the views of those seated behind you. A limited reserved seating section is available.  (
reserved seating chart ). When facing the stage,  it is to the right of the stage. Transferable laminated passes are issued to each reserved ticket holder, so that your seat may be shared with your friends. Coolers in this section must fit under your seat.
Unlike most events, Jamboree In The Hills allows you to bring in your own food and beverages, however kegs are not permitted. Malt-based beverages are permitted, as long as the alcohol content is 6% or less. The maximum permissible cooler size is 48" long by 30" wide by 24" deep. Larger coolers will not be permitted through the ticket gates. The maximum length  and width also apply to carts  used for transporting coolers. The maximum height for carts  used for transporting coolers is 37" (with the coolers on them) Keep in mind that beer, water and soft drinks are available at a reasonable cost. All materials are removed from the venue overnight, so don't leave personal items behind when you leave. Management accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
EXIT GATES
Anyone wishing to leave the concert area may do so at any time. Please note that you must have a valid wristband to re-enter. State law prohibits anyone from leaving the concert area with opened alcohol containers. Please discard them in the trash cans before leaving the venue.
FOR SAFETY'S SAKE
Absolutely no glass containers, funnels or "beer bongs", metal flag poles, knives, firearms, fireworks, cooking grills, or motorized vehicles, motorized carts or motorized dollies are permitted, as well as other items at management's discretion. Non-pressurized spray bottles and squirt guns with finger pump type action are the only water devices permitted. Please use only water in these devices and do not spray anyone without their consent. Any items confiscated will not be returned.
DESIGNATED DRIVERS
Jamboree In The Hills supports the Designated Driver concept. We urge you to decide in advance who will be your group's designated driver. Please: Don't Drink & Drive.
SECURITY
Security personnel are on duty around the clock throughout the grounds for the entire week. Your full cooperation with them will be greatly appreciated. Please report any incident requiring attention to either a uniformed Deputy Sheriff  or to Event Staff personnel.
PHOTOS
A photo aisle has been provided directly in front of the stage for your photo-taking convenience. Only those with cameras will be permitted to enter this aisle. Video cameras and audio tape recorders are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated. Any tape confiscated will not be returned to the owner or operator.
FIRST AID
Completely equipped ambulances and a Medical Facility Tent are located near Gate #1 in the concert area. Please make note of its location when you arrive. The Medical Facility Tent is staffed and equipped to handle minor injuries, accidents and other emergencies. There is no fee for emergency medical services received on site. In the event of a problem, look for the Blue-Shirted Medical Staff for assistance. Over the counter medicines will not be provided at the Medical Facility. Such items as aspirin, sun-screen, etc. may be purchased at any of the general stores.
WEATHER
The weather is usually sunny, with temperatures in the high 80's. It is advisable to use sunscreen lotion and to drink plenty of water and other non-alcoholic beverages. Be prepared for sudden summer rains. The show will go on if at all possible! If the conditions deteriorate to the point that the public’s safety is at risk, the show may be delayed or canceled for that day. Please listen to the directions given by announcers and security during such times.
