Jamboree In The Hills Arrival Guide
Jamboree In The Hills campgrounds will officially open at the following times:
Reserved Campers can begin to arrive, through Entrance 1, 2pm on Sunday, July 14, 2013.
Jamboree In The Hills general admission camping will officially open 8am on Monday, July 15, 2013. We will begin to move campers from The Official Jamboree In The Hills pre-parking lot at 6am on Monday, July 15th and then will pull from neighboring lots after the JITH pre-parking lot has been cleared.
TicketingThe Jamboree In The Hills 2013 Venue will officially open on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 8am.
If you have purchased the Jamboree In The Hills 4day Ticket, you will need to exchange that ticket for an official Jamboree In The Hills wristband. You MUST be wearing a wristband to gain entry to the Jamboree In The Hills venue starting on Thursday, July 18, 2013. You will only receive one wristband and you must wear it for the duration of the festival.
On-site wrist banding will officially open on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at noon. Avoid long lines on opening day and get your wristband early! You MUST have your Jamboree In The Hills 4 Day Ticket (Thursday-Sunday) and your photo ID (to prove your legal age) to receive your official Jambo wristband.
3 Day Ticket (Friday-Sunday) 2 Day Ticket (Saturday-Sunday) and single day ticket holders can only obtain their wristband on the first day that your ticket is valid.
Always remember that your ticket is valuable, please keep it in a safe place, do not lose it, do not tamper with it and do not forget it when you are leaving home for the festival. Tickets can only be purchased at Music Today, our authorized ticket company.
The Jamboree In The Hills on-site Box-Office is located at Gate 1 and is open every day, week of show, from 8am -10pm, to pickup will call or for any ticket related questions or issues.

Jamboree In The hills is one of the most respected country music events in the nation. We need our fans to help us keep this tradition! The following information, procedures and regulations have been developed for your own safety and protection. Strict enforcement of all laws and regulations is necessary to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible at Jamboree In The Hills!
Jambo is an outdoor, rain or shine event so you will be contending with Mother Nature. Here is a brief list of some things you may want to consider bringing along with you to the “Biggest Party of the Year”
Cooler- 48”X30”X24” We love our creative Jamboree fans’ coolers
Drinks & snacks- No Glass & Must be Factory Sealed
Blanket or Tarp- 8X10
Sunglasses/Sunscreen- NO AEROSOL
Hat- For those hot & sunny days
Rain gear, warm & dry clothes- For those cool evening or rainy days
Legal spray bottle- To cool down with or as self defense against outlaw squirters
Shade Canopy- 10X10 which are permitted in the rear of the theater area
Comfortable shoes- 206 acres for you to walk 'in the hills'
Moist towelettes- For your trips to the port o' potties
Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc.- When the sun or the partying gets to ya’
Camera- You will see many memorable sights at JITH & we are just talking about our fans!!
Wagon, cart, etc.- For transporting all your Jamboree gear into the concert area
If you like to travel light, we have plenty of food & beverage concessions throughout the event site and campgrounds. Visit our general stores that are stocked with various items such as ice, cold drinks, first aid items, suntan lotion, etc.
Don’t forget to stop at the Official Jamboree In The Hills Merchandise Tents! This is the only place to by official Jamboree In The Hills souvenir items, including the legendary annual line-up tee! Artist merchandise is also sold at the Main merch stand on the East Side of the venue.
Jamboree In The Hills features over 2500 “primitive” style camping spaces with no hookups and 162 “reserved” sites. Camping must be purchased separately from your concert ticket and is available through our website. Visit our camping page or more information on Jambo camping and the rules and regulations.
Daily parking is available by using Entrance #2 off Route 40. The parking lots will open at 8am on Thursday, Friday and Sunday and 6am on Saturday. NO overnight parking is permitted in the daily parking lots!
Remote parking is available for those who want to hang with friends in our campgrounds and want to leave their vehicle overnight. You can purchase this pass at the entry points for these specific lots.
Premium parking is also available for purchase (paved lot, closest to the gate) on a daily basis through our ticketing website.
Jamboree In The Hills features primarily festival style seating with ample room for your lawn chair or blanket.
